I am thinking about attenting Le Tourneau instead of University Of Phoeinix . Can some one talk more about the experience at LeTourneu

Kay

This is my attempt to explain the "LeTourneau Experience." Just so you know, Semeria, that's about as general a request as you could possibly make, so if you are looking for specifics, let us know. Here we go:

Don't expect this to be a school that you get lost in. By the end of your first or second year, you at least recognize everyone on campus by sight (except for those who are addicted to computer games and never leave their rooms).

The floor that you live on will become very important to you. This is particularly true for guys floors.

Expect your education to be a lot more practical and hands-on than at a large school. Because there are less students and you don't get lost in the crowd, you will be required to work hard and really gain experience. This is one of the key reasons that our job placement after graduation is so good.

When you aren't in class or working, most of your free time will be taken up by goofing off with your friends and then scrambling to get your homework done.

This is a Christian school, so there is expected chapel attendance, and some rules are in place that there won't be at a state school. However, Letu gives its students more freedom to make their own decisions than any other Christian college.

This is all coming from a current student's perspective. I've been here for two years so far. That should be enough to start with. If you have more questions, please reply!!
